Eligibility

The program is designed for college juniors, but is open to qualified sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Students from all science disciplines with an interest in the ocean and that meet the criteria are encouraged to apply.

To be eligible for this program, you must have:

• completed three lab science courses
• completed a semester each of chemistry, biology, and precalculus/calculus

Application Timeline: There is no deadline for applying to the Sea Change program. However, we limit this program to 12 students and review applications as we receive them. We recommend applying early!

Financial aid, like student acceptance into the program, is decided on a rolling basis. For full financial aid consideration, please apply by February 15.
