Bigelow Laboratory provides high-quality analytical services for detecting and characterizing chemical pollutants. We analyze persistent contaminants—including PFAS, petroleum hydrocarbons (SARA, PAHs, alkanes), and PCBs—to support environmental monitoring, risk assessment, and remediation planning.

Our Maine state-certified laboratory offers testing across a wide range of matrices, including freshwater, seawater, wastewater, sediments, soils, and plant and animal (non-human) tissues. These services help identify contamination sources, evaluate environmental and toxicological risks, and track how contaminants behave and degrade over time.
