About Penny Paquette

Penny Paquette recently retired from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth where—for close to 40 years as an administrator and a researcher—she focused on strategic planning, communications, and initiatives. Bigelow Labs and Tuck share similar traits and face similar challenges being smaller, high quality organizations in a field with larger, well established competitors. She majored in History at Smith College and received a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School.

After graduating from Tuck, Ms. Paquette served as head of human resources at a growing strategy consulting firm. Returning to Tuck, she first worked Professor James Brian Quinn as a research associate and co-authored numerous cases and articles dealing primarily with the impact of technology in service industries. She also worked with faculty members at Tuck to increase the volume of sponsored research support. Ms. Paquette has served on the Board of Trustees of Andover Newton Theological School, the Board of Directors of the Dartmouth Club of the Upper Valley, the Ford Sayre Ski Council, and as President of her alumnae class at Smith.
