Endicott P. 'Chip' Davison


About Endicott Davison Jr.

Endicott P. 'Chip' Davison Jr. is a graduate of Yale University and was the co-founder and President of Great Eastern Mussel Farms Inc., one of the first aquaculture companies in Maine. Mr. Davison has always had an interest in the ocean. An accomplished world sailor, he also has served on numerous boards of special relevance to Bigelow Laboratory, including the Maine Technology Institute, the Maine Aquaculture Association, the Maine Department of Marine Resources Advisory Council, and the Ingalls Foundation. Maine awarded Mr. Davison “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2002 and still finds himself involved with new start-ups. Mr. Davison is married to Nanette Davison who has served on many local boards including chairperson of The Boothbay Region YMCA, chairperson of The Boothbay Region Land Trust, and co-founder of the Boothbay Region PTA. They have three daughters and four grandchildren.
