Workshop (September 9, 10, and 11) location: Spruce Point Inn, Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The Welcome Reception and Dinner on Sunday will be at the 88 Grand View Room. All other events will be at the Pemaquid Room.
The optional hands-on
component of the workshop (September 12-14) will take place at the
Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean
Sciences, Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Participants are encouraged to bring their
own laptop computers for the bioinformatics exercises. Mac OS X and Linux are
preferred operating systems, followed by Windows XP. The Classic Mac and older
Windows OSs will not work. Either Wi-Fi or Ethernet cards will be needed to
access online materials. Participants should take the online IMG tutorial before
the workshop:
