Industry Agreements and Partnerships
As part of its Corporate Alliances and Technology Transfer initiative, the Laboratory has formalized a series of business agreements with the private sector. These agreements are designed to streamline the process for corporate sponsorship of Bigelow-based research projects and to facilitate the commercialization of the Laboratory’s discoveries.

Long-term Master Professional Research Services Agreements are now in place with Fluid Imaging Technologies, Inc., in Yarmouth, Maine; BioProcess Algae, LLC in Portsmouth, Rhode Island; and Health Enhancement Products, Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona.
Exclusive Technology License Agreements have been signed with Satlantic, Inc., in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Kennebec River Biosciences in Richmond, Maine.
